Sauna stove Skamet SS-210 GL (7–12 m³)

Skamet SS-210 GL is a square mesh-casing wood-burning sauna stove made in Estonia, fired from an adjacent room through the wall. Suitable for a steam room of 7–12 m³ — a compact choice for a small sauna, barrel sauna or summer cottage.

Mesh casing — long, soft heat

The square mesh casing holds a large stone mass around the firebox — about 90 kg. The sauna therefore heats up more slowly (about 60–90 minutes), but stays warm longer and the steam is especially soft and even. The manufacturer recommends a mesh stove if you bathe for more than two hours.

Firing from an adjacent room

The stove stands in the steam room, while the firing tunnel (16 cm) passes through the wall, so firewood, ash and dust stay out of the steam room. You can stoke and watch the fire from the changing or relaxation room. Firewood length up to 55 cm. The tunnel can be extended by 1–10 cm (selectable when ordering).

Built-in flue channels — efficiency over 70 %

Two built-in flue channels keep the hot gases inside the stove longer, so more heat goes into the stones and the steam room rather than up the chimney. This means lower firewood consumption and a lower flue gas temperature. The firebox ceiling is 6 mm and the back wall 4 mm hot-rolled steel. Skamet stoves are CE-marked and made to EN 15821:2010.

Standard: glass door 200 × 220 mm; hinges on the left; black heat-resistant paint.

Options (chosen when ordering): firing tunnel extension 1–10 cm; decorative frame around the door (black or stainless); door hinges on the right; protective walls and floor plate; sauna stones included.

Sauna stones and chimney are not included — suitable gabbro-diabase stones and Skamet chimney parts can be found in “Sauna stove accessories”.
