Skamet
OÜ Skamet was founded in January 2006 by acquiring Härma Metall OÜ, a long-established metal products manufacturer. Production and sales continued: wood-burning sauna stoves with sheet-steel casings, boilers and chimneys. Today the company operates on its own capital.
The production facilities are in Pärnu, Savi 9. The main products are sauna stoves (steel and mesh casing), boilers and chimneys. Over the years new products have been added: mesh-casing sauna stoves, smokers, stainless steel boilers with anodes, tanks and wood-burning cooking stoves. Most of the production is exported — the main export countries are Latvia, Lithuania and Germany. Products have also been delivered to Belgium, Finland, Canada, Poland, Australia and Switzerland. Since 2010 Skamet has been doing metalwork as a subcontractor for the Finnish company Etelä-Hämeen Metalli.

The dealer of OÜ Skamet products in Latvia is SIA Zaļā Republika. Showroom: Riga, Brīvības iela 155 k-8 (Barona quarter), visits by appointment.

Quality mark
The company follows the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. Since 2007 Skamet OÜ has been a member of the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2008 a quality management system was introduced, and as a result of its assessment we obtained the right to mark our products with the CE mark.
Under innovation programmes, Skamet OÜ received EAS support for the project “Testing the durability of chimneys” (July–November 2011) and funding for the project “Adapting sauna stoves to European Union standards” (November 2011 – January 2012).
